This is from a week before the drawing of Rainbow Reclining from yesterday. I was having a hard time that night and my mind was more chaotic then. In my frustration I decided to work on top of an earlier drawing from that night in an attempt to make sense of the chaos. This is something I was doing a lot at the time (See posts Watercolor Moleskine Part 1 and Part 2). In focusing on a small element of the whole figure I was able to pull off a nice study from an otherwise fruitless night.
