Drawing the model from this angle (I was sitting on the floor right next to the model stand looking up at the model) is the bane of my existence. Whenever you get that foreshortened right shoulder blocking the neck i becomes one big recipe for a disaster. I made the head too big and squished the torso too much. But I do like those hands.

I started experimenting with my colors a bit more as promised. I began this piece with a light wash of base color and added the pencil marks with a 2B graphite stick. Normally, the pencil doesn't flow real well on a wet surface, but this softer led and sturdier piece of graphite glided like butter.
